Wings was founded in 2000 by Amy Arndt after support and encouragement to fulfill a creative void in her life by her father, an artist by trade, and by her mother's always creative and inspiring influence. While Amy is a wife, mother of two, and a lawyer, she finds her creative spirit in designing and handcrafting unique jewelry. What started out as a hobby and creative outlet, has turned into a nationwide business, designing and distributing unique, artistic jewelry to upscale gift stores and galleries throughout the United States.
In August 2005, Amy partnered with Lisa Uhlir as a new Co-Owner. Lisa served as a Sales Rep for WINGS in prior years and as an Owner of WINGS, she significantly expands the reach of WINGS through her unique marketing and sales skills. This unique partnership allows Amy to focus on the artistic designs and overseeing production and allows Lisa to focus on sales, marketing, and customer service. WINGS employs a full service production and office staff under the supervision of our office manager, Jenna Munsch, helping WINGS to provide excellence in customer service.
WINGS is extremely dedicated to the community and committed to helping numerous charitable causes through direct and in-kind donations to many local organizations and charities. To that end, WINGS Studio is proud to employ a team of women who handcraft our unique designs and also want to use WINGS as a vehicle for assisting worthy causes.
We love the saying "Spread Your Wings" and the inference it conveys. Whether in the form of encouragement and love from family and friends, or the spiritual guidance and blessing of having angels watch over our daily lives, we love the warming connotation of the word WINGS. Thus, the name WINGS for the company that allows us to unwind, reflect, and pursue our creative passions. The message and dream of WINGS is to remind women that we should continue to grow, explore, love and enjoy life to the fullest. As business owners and artists, this is something we strive for in our daily lives as we seek balance in our faith, our family, and our careers.
