Our
Inspiration
Amy's inspiration for LOVEPRINTS came from her mother and children.
Over the past several years, Amy's children have continued to expand
their creativity through various art mediums and through their love
of cooking. They frequently have made peanut butter thumbprint cookies
together, which brings back fond memories for Amy of working in the
kitchen with her mother and the patience she had in letting her young
daughter help make cookies.
Amy's
children also loved painting and stamping their fingerprints using the
paint into art projects. Amy thought it would be wonderful to be able
to preserve those prints forever to remind her of those precious childhood
memories.
A few years ago, she and one of her closest friends were talking about
ways to memorialize these young years with their children. She asked
Amy to make an imprint for her and somehow incorporate that into a piece
of jewelry. It took Amy over a year to figure out an efficient process
to accomplish this and to be able to provide a unique, understated high
quality piece of jewelry.
LOVEPRINTS became Amy's vision and artistic creation for preserving
the fingerprints of loved ones and being able to hold those dear to
us close through a unique, distinctive jewelry design.
